Contact card generator
This page explains what a Contact card is used for, what the encoded text looks like, and how to make one. The generator runs entirely on your device.
How to make a Contact card
Three steps:
- Open the generator and pick Contact card.
- Fill in the fields — the preview updates as you type.
- Download PNG for screens, or SVG for anything going to print.
Example
Scanners recognise this content by its prefix, so the text has to be formatted exactly. The generator handles the escaping — a Wi-Fi password containing a semicolon, for instance, breaks a hand-written payload.

Practical tips
- Test the printed code with a phone before you order a thousand of them. Print, lighting and surface all affect scanning.
- Leave the quiet zone alone. Cropping the blank border is the most common reason a code stops scanning.
- Dark code on a light background. Inverted codes work on some scanners and fail on many.
